Barnwood Furniture
The wood comes from old barns. The barns we select are between 100 to 150 years old. The species are generally pine. We occasionally come across and use other species.
The wood is full of inherent character, blemishes, holes, and various textures. These are not considered defects. Only the elements, oxidation and time cause the wood to turn this wonderful patina.
You can expect saw marks and different textures between the various pieces of wood used in each piece of furniture. These are the natural saw marks, natural imperfections and weather textured created over time. When combined, the various textures and inherent character give each piece of furniture its own character – no two pieces are ever exactly alike and nor do we guarantee any piece will look exactly like a specific photo shown on Barn Wood Classics web site.
We make your furniture custom. How long it takes to build and complete a delivery depends on the complexity and size of your order and your location. For custom orders or when you have a deadline to meet, it is best to call us and speak with us to create an order and delivery plan that best fits your needs.
Custom Orders
Barn Wood Classics specializes in custom-made furniture. Custom orders require a 50% deposit to begin crafting. Balance is due prior to shipping. Barn Wood Classics charges the balance the day the shipping company picks up the furniture. There are no refunds on custom orders. Barn Wood Classics is not responsible for shipper delays. We will work diligently to meet the promised delivery dates.
Stock Furniture
Stock furniture are refundable with an "In Store Credit" should the client change their mind or the item does not fit. If the furniture is taken/ordered from the store or website, the return policy is effective if notified within 10 days of delivery.
All products must be returned in the same condition as which it left the store/arrived at your home.
If the product has been shipped and the customer changes their mind and wants a product refund, then shipping charges apply for the return of the product.
Shipping
Getting our clients their furniture the first time without damage is our primary goal. We carefully wrap, pad, shrink wrap, and box the furniture to ensure its safe travel. We take every precaution to make sure your furniture is packaged correctly, shipped timely and safely.
Shipping is available anywhere in the United States and Canada. We charge a standard 12% for shipping and handling of all orders within the contiguous 48 states. Please call for pricing for other locations.
It is imperative that if you live in a remote area for which it will not be feasible to get a commercial semi-truck to your residence that you inform us at the time of ordering. Please let us know if any special arrangements need to be made.
Additional charges will apply if the truck shows up and the delivery can not be made because the truck can not gain access.
